Lobo, a Dodo, and good old Superman! Warning: Spoilers
Lobo and Superman unite forces to escape their mutual captor, the Preserver. It was a completely uneasy alliance starting for the fact that Superman didn't free Lobo in the first place, he decided to do it go get Lobo's promise that he wouldn't attack him or anyone from Earth in the future. In my opinion, that's a small plot mistake because Lobo is not really trustworthy; Superman could have got exactly the problem he was trying to prevent. Nevertheless its a good episode full of action, movement and fun.

With a small Dodo in one of the cages that helps Superman to deduce when he could use his powers again (The Dodo bird, or Raphus Cucullatus is an extinct bird from Earth, therefore when Superman sees him, he knows his powers will be soon back) and many good details in the plot "The Main Man. Part II" delivers a good second part to its first half and also contributes to tell us about where much of what could later be found in the Superman's "Fortress of Solitude" came from.

Not 'Super,' But A Decent Part II
ccthemovieman-115 June 2007
This is not as funny as last episode's "The Main Man: Part I," but it's still entertaining as Superman gets out of his glass prison, regains most of his strength, and even gets "Lobo" (The Main Man") to be his ally against "The Preserver" so they can both get out of there: one back to Earth and the other back to his planet "Zarnia."

The two find it isn't easy to get away from the giant ship and zoo-like atmosphere where all sorts of traps and weird monsters await them as "The Preserver" keeps close tabs on them.

An action-packed and colorful episode with entertaining and often humor creatures like "The Geek." The best color was near the end when "The Preserver" morphs into some giant red creature who is very cool looking. This was good comic-book stuff.
