Nothing much

Warning: Spoilers
Nothing very exciting here. The usual story with burglars falling out and the boys getting involved. The most interesting part is seeing Gretchen Franklin, best known as Ethel from EASTENDERS, in support.

Trust Red

Haskins turns up. His first appearance of the season and he has nothing much to do.

Then again nothing much happens in this episode apart from one robber dancing on the roof and falling to his death.

Red is a veteran robber who feels responsible for the death of one of his gang members.

He feels long in the tooth, his eyes are getting worse and he has a pregnant girlfriend half his age.

Regan and Carter might have a lead. The charlady is helping the gang out casing offices to rob.

Uninteresting and boring. At least Red cuts a sympathetic figure. He even understands why his wife wants to divorce him.

Another Likeable Villain Episode
TheFearmakers24 June 2021
We all know British shows have ugly guys with hot girls half their age, and here it's with an overweight gray-haired guest star bad guy who is actually a nice bad guy as in a burglar losing his vision, his wife (whom he didn't want anyway since he has a twenty-something cute girlfriend) and is so sympathetic he's hardly worth rooting for or against. Not a bad episode but wouldn't have cut the mustard in the previous seasons. Season 4 is simply subpar viewing. What's surprising is the likable villain doesn't happen to be an old friend of Regan. He has tons turning up this season.
