While searching for water the Wagon Train Robert Fuller and Frank McGrath come
on outlaws who recently robbed a bank. Jack Lord, James Caan, Dee Pollock and
some of their women folk Diane Brewster and Susan Seaforth Hayes.
They have a water problem too in addition to a posse chasing them. They shoot McGrath and leave him for dead.
Fuller tells them of a tale that there's water through dangerous Echo Pass which will take them to California. But it's a dangerous trek and Fuller playing for time works on all of them.
Great acted drama with Bob Fuller turning into one master psychologist. What happens with Lord is something to see.
