This is another good one, the MST3K crew are tearing apart a bad James Bond rip off. The film is so cheap, and it shows like the main villain's base looks like stock sets from high school plays the high school plays look a lot better than this film in fact I'd rather watch them then this movie.
Anyway, the action isn't very good as it looks poorly choregraphed and worst of all the lead is pretty much a one dollar discount store version of James Bond, with the worst name for an action protagonist I've ever heard Bart Fargo (yeah, you can make dozens of name jokes out of it); but it's also got this weird soundtrack with a theme tune that is so catchy you'll wish you can get it out of your head.
Other than that, this episode was funny, like the host segments as usual from seeing Crow wearing painful contact lens. But also seeing Frank concocting a fake talent agency, it was interesting seeing him do something clever, it really shows he's capable of smarts and does better on his own when he's not around the bad doctor.
The riffs are funny business as usual. From a scene where there riffing on a helicopter and sub that are clearly models, heck even the ocean the sub is in you can tell is clearly a tub of water as the water looks too still; they even hum the theme of the film sometimes which plays throughout the film constantly.
But my favorite ones are one scene which is one of the worst car chases I've ever seen on film let alone slowest, discount Bond isn't even putting the petal to the metal; what's really funny is by the end of it you can tell the final scene in it is a model. This leads to one of my favorite MST quotes from the episode "Hot Wheels" "Some little boy is going to be very upset", yeah, I'm upset alright watching this movie. Another favorite quote in another scene is when Crow says, "Bart Fargo is Hard to Watch" yes he is.
