It really was very interesting to see a film featured on the show that actually won an Oscar. Then again, the version that was shown was extremely edited and not even released under its original name "Marooned". I still love this episode because of all the great riffs and eagerly awaiting them to address the big thing. The movie is about people stuck in space when that's exactly what's happening to these guys! Then again, they mention how most of them are robots and don't even need oxygen.
One of my favorites was, "What about two men?" followed by, "What about six midgets?". I also loved when Crow said, "His head looks like a gumball machine. A guy in space who looks like a gumball machine!" and then Tom Servo looks at him. Get it? That's a great drawing from the person who wrote the letter at the end. I also liked, "How are the mice?" with, "Oh, they're dead. How about the rabbits?". I know enough about history to understand them saying, "The President will deliver an important message" with the riff, "He'll vomit on some Japanese people". ***1/2
