A great show that could have made it to the big networks.

I really enjoyed this show, it gives an excellent variety of eighties music videos and interviews with eighties musicians and music fans. One of the best parts of the show was it's interaction with the live audiences and their genuine reactions.

Although if it weren't for the entertainment the show provides, it would be lacking in a few areas. Firstly the production design is quite poor, on some episodes it looks as though they have stolen the set from the hard rubbish collection, though on a good day it looks as though it was all bought at a two dollar shop. Secondly the presenter of the show sometimes goes overboard, which can make the show uncomfortable to watch.

However, I have to hand it to the director Josh Egan, who displayed control while maintaining creativity in the way the show was put together visually, the footage flowed and his talent made it feel as though we were there rather than looking at it through the television. All up it is an extremely entertaining look back at eighties music and easily one of the greatest television programs on channel 31.
