. . . like the ones chummy with the James Bond film series movie producer Albert R. "Cubby" Broccoli mentioned by LICENSE TO KILL production designer Peter Lamont in his narration on this piece about finding spots to shoot KILL. MY friends have basements that fill up with raw sewage if it rains too much, because many if not most sewers in America are of the "Storm and Sanitary Combo" type (which was far cheaper on the civic planning menus than the "Rich People Pay Their Fair Share to Allow Crap-Free Basements for All" type). It's clear that Cubby's friends in the Mexican resort--who permitted their home to double as KILL drug lord Franz Sanchez's digs--did NOT have to worry about shoveling the spit out from their white alabaster surroundings every time it rained hard. Unlike in South American cities such as Rio, the rich people in North American towns like Hollywood and Acupulco live on the hills, flushing their Toidies toward the poor lowlanders down below. So it goes.
