Foggy comes across a big old world war 2 walkie-talkie. It has a big backpack and kind of looks like the early version of the Motorola mobile phone used by Errol Flynn in the movie Objective Burma.
Foggy tries to get Wesley to repair it but he is better at fixing engines than electrics. Clegg and Compo are made to go out and test it but the radio goes rolling down the hill and gets run over by a tractor.
Compo and Clegg have a plan as to how the walkie talkie got damaged and it involves saving Howard and Marina.
You can understand Foggy getting enthusiastic about this item from the second world war and it is nice to see that Wesley cannot just fix anything. I also liked the slightly more creative use of Howard and Marina rather than just the trio stumbling on to their fumbling.
