The Arts of Concealment

This is the last time we sis Sid and Ivy in the cafe properly. Actor John Comer would appear in the subsequent Christmas special but his voice would have to be dubbed as he had cancer.

A good knockabout episode, Foggy demonstrates his skill in hiding from the enemy, part of his jungle warfare skills, only to end up knocking a group of cyclists off their bikes. Foggy gets to encounter them again at the cafe where the irate cyclists chase him out.

Later on Compo loses his trousers when the trio help out a posh couple whose car has broken down and they rather cruelly take of Wally's trousers as he passes by in his motorbike.

There seems to be two plots going on here each taking 15 minutes rather than a coherent half hour comedy. Series seven did not go out with a bang maybe because a feature length Christmas episode was due to follow.
