The martial arts fights were good. But the very ending after the last fight was POINTLESS!!!

Watched it on one of the apps; liked the fights and martial arts, the romance--what I disliked was after the character defeats his last opponent, a deadly ninja assassin, instead of winning a substantial money award, he's whisked away and confined to a holding cell surrounded by alien species, to fight again. That was POINTLESS, and DUMB! And now the woman is left alone (You should've taken her and fled, pal!). Couldn't find a possible sequel to this movie; and the star who played the lead fighter is now deceased. I can dream of perhaps a sequel with karate warriors coming to save him. I guess that's why we have the SPACE FORCE! Lol.

For a film with a budget of $11,000, this is pretty good. Silly, campy fun.

Warning: Spoilers
FIGHT RING: Directed, financed, written, and produced by my former martial arts instructor, Sean Gallimore. It's a story of a man who suffers a debilitating injury (MY HANNND! is a hilarious line, flatly delivered), rehabilitates himself, then receives a ring and a significant amount of cash in the mail. If he chooses to wear the ring, he enters into a tournament of elite fighters. The ring indicates when another contestant is nearby. I'm not going to spoil any more of it for you, save to say that there is a ridiculous plot twist, and most of it was shot in Sean's house, backyard, and the state forests of Connecticut. The other fighter characters are caricatures of tropes ("DESTROY!"), which comes across as intentional and keeps one chuckling.

Fun, silly thing with decent fight scenes that's fun to watch when you're bored (or stoned). Sean's ability with fight choreography and his willingness to be silly prevent this film from being a total dumpster fire.

A one star movie, with an extra for effort.

I'm not really sure what this movie is. The premise sounded pretty awesome. A secret fighting organization, identified by rings that they wear, that when they meet in the real world...they must battle, the loser giving up his ring. Also some ninja's.

Sounds cool doesn't it? Yes. You know what's not cool? 90% of it taking place in people's houses and random parking lots. Oh and there's some scenes in the local park. All of it brilliantly shot on a handcam...probably bought from BestBuy for the $599 sale.

Basically this is a premise that properly done could have been pretty exciting. It's just missing, writing, direction, a budget, a single person with acting skills, and guys who actually know martial arts. Although the lead character does seem like he knows some real martial arts...but he's so old and non-threatening looking.

Very low budget, hokey, cheesy, and pretty much unwatchable. I gave them 1 extra star because it seems like they at least took it pretty seriously.

Warning: Spoilers
Great awesome movie! Would recommend to you! Best fight scenes ever! Not for those weak at heart! YERS I like the scene with the African American robot! Who said DESTROY! (OBS SPOILER!!!!) The robot I liked the most, it was really awesome! Micheal decaf I like And also, Chuck Norris. God bless! America. And you know it. Uhm, what happens with the boss at the office?! I would like to know. Is the boss also a fighter?! I don't know.-.. But you can find out! ;) But watching FIGHTRING!!! (Scnee 15) :( ((SPOILER ALERT)) I don't think it was very realistic though :( the master 5 Dan was winning against the other guys with the weapon, nunchuckas :( I don't know why. maybe because the weapons gave the man some unrealistic power to win the fights. (STILL I Don't KNOW)?!

It was entertaining

I watch videos to be entertained. Lots of them are an hour story stretched out to two hours. This is one of those. But you can fast forward through the talking stuff and not miss much of anything.

It has a plot, and an ending that far exceeded my hopes, expectations, and imagination. It made the most of whatever budget there was.

The fight scenes were not disappointing, some were rather comical, all the bad guys ganged up on the one good guy waiting their turn to get knocked out. My wife even said maybe they have a code that says they have to wait their turn. She even enjoyed it and hates martial arts flicks.

I figure I got my money's worth and then some. I liked it.
