Gungrave Season 4's fifth episode "Then" is a powerful and emotional masterpiece that flawlessly weaves together action, drama, and suspense. This episode is a prime example of the series at its best, showcasing impeccable writing, stunning visuals, and unforgettable character moments that will leave viewers on the edge of their seats.

The episode opens with Harry laying his wife to rest, providing an intimate and deeply emotional scene that sets the tone for the rest of the episode. As Harry tries to come to terms with his loss, he is suddenly attacked by those who wish him dead, resulting in a thrilling chase sequence that showcases the series' impressive action choreography and animation.

But what truly sets this episode apart is the confrontation between Harry and Grave. The two characters have a complex and layered history, and this episode takes their relationship to new heights. The tension between them is palpable, and the writing does an excellent job of exploring their conflicting ideologies and motivations.

The episode also delivers some powerful character moments, particularly for Harry, whose vulnerability and grief are on full display. The series has always excelled at portraying the human side of its characters, and this episode is no exception. As the episode draws to a close, viewers are left with a sense of emotional catharsis and a desire to see where the story will go next.

Overall, Gungrave Season 4's fifth episode "Then" is a perfect 10/10. It is a masterful piece of storytelling that showcases the best of what the series has to offer. From its stunning visuals and impressive action sequences to its deep character moments and emotional resonance, this episode is a must-watch for any fan of anime or storytelling in general.
