There will be no peace when this is all over.

Warning: Spoilers
Roger is horrified when he returns home after confrontation with Sam Evans to find Burke Devlin in the living room with Elizabeth and Victoria. He's even more disgusted to find that Elizabeth is preparing to serve him tea, and demands the opportunity to speak to Burke alone. Burke makes it clear as to why he is there. He believes that Roger killed Bill Malloy and intends to prove it and thus make Rodger hang, and in the meantime enjoy watching him suffer. The confrontation only briefly gets aggressive and that is when Roger tries to end the conversation and leave the room, resulting in Burke slamming the door shut so he can't. Elizabeth try to find solace by visiting Victoria's room, and Victoria indicates that she's heard no screaming which Elizabeth does not find amusing.

The foursome are joined again at the end of the episode where Roger is shaken by Burke's promise. It's a chilling episode that is verbally brilliant in its acerbic sparring between the two enemies and finds the two women wringing their hands in worry over how it will end. Louis Edmonds and Mitchell Ryan are superb in how they play off each other. Once again, it makes me interested to see if they shared screen time in 1986 on "All My Children" even if it was just a simple introduction.

"I Want Your Hide"

Warning: Spoilers
Coming home to Collinwood, Roger (Louis Edmonds) finds Burke (Mitchell Ryan) waiting, and in his usual confrontational mood. Burke thinks Sam could exonerate his manslaughter charge and also believes Roger killed Malloy. Burke wants vindication, but Liz (Joan Bennett) accuses him of being merely vindictive. Roger says Vicki (Alexandra Moltke) can provide an alibi for him, since Malloy died at 10:45. As you may recall, Roger manipulated Vicki's memory of the time-line during Episode #62. She appears uncertain, but Vicki ends up supporting Roger...

Mr. Edmonds' reading of the "teleprompter" script reaches a new level of obvious. The episode's highlight is watching Liz react to Vicki's story of how she wrote letters to herself at the foundling home - clearly, Liz knows something...

A lot of arguing

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 66 is one that's interchangeable with those preceding it. Burke is now trying to prove that Roger murdered Malloy but of course Roger denies anything. With no physical plot development all this means is that characters argue and shout at each other for the entire running time. The only thing we learn is that Victoria doesn't know what time Roger left on the night of Malloy's murder, making his abili a difficult one.
