Sarah is chatted up in the bookstore by Sam, who works at the Sycamores residential home. Sarah faces a challenge in keeping the date secret from her mother and her geriatric mafia, she asks Clare for help. Vera Poling spots Sarah at the Sycamores and reports to Sarah. A series of misunderstandings cause Eleanor to think Sarah is placing her in the Sycamores.
Eleanor is at her most nosy and interfering here. I love the idea of her heading up a geriatric mafia, a band of aged snoops reporting on her every move. Finally Sarah snaps and tells her off, soon after Clare snaps and also tells her off. Eleanor's desperate attempts to find out what's going on are brilliant.
Mary is really funny, considering she has only had non speaking part so far she's physically very funny.
A very funny episode, it shows that snooping is never any good. 8/10
