Prunella gets to work with her husband, they deliver a cracking episode.
Sleepin_Dragon10 October 2017
Sarah's become the promoter for the Stipton Stagers, an amateur dramatics society. Russell, full of flu warns Sarah not to agree to many favours, but instantly Sarah falls short, agreeing to let them rehearse in her home. Director Nigel's frustrations begin when members of the cast start dropping with flu and shenanigans, but Clare and Eleanor step in to save the day.

This is a very funny episode, great to see Scales getting the chance to work with husband Timothy West, he's really funny as Nigel, he does cameo very well, those glasses and that hairstyle! Eleanor is very funny as Lady Bracknell, a part which fits what she thinks is her social standing.

If it's big hair you want, there's a lot on shown here, Clare is donning a rather terrifying mullet, whilst Eleanor is donned in a style Margaret Thatcher would have been proud of. Bob is mentioned yet again, but not seen, I wonder if there was a rule in eighties sitcoms to never show two gay men at the same time.

Plenty of BBC jokes, the BBC had the chance to produce it for TV as well as radio, but passed on the offer.
