Very controversial, strong story.

George and June are out and about on routine duties, and spot a woman pinching a handbag, when they speak to her she's not adverse to spinning a yarn.

The show has never been afraid to take on taboo subjects, and here it tackles two of them at the same time.

A good falling out between George and June, he's perhaps a little more moralistic than I was expecting him to be, I tend to agree more with June here.

Michelle Fairley is absolutely terrific here as Beth, she's an incredibly talented actress, she's very much one of the best there is.

There are genuinely more lies in this episode than in a Tory Party manifesto.

8/10.
