Warning: Spoilers
I was really excited when I saw the trailer, and I went to see it today. Its interesting actually, all about the Bali bombing n the plans & reasons behind it, the build up & aftermath. It shows us how it went from different point of views, and it explains that not all Moslems are terrorists, the terrorists just happened to be Moslems. and not every Caucasian is an infidel too. However there are some flaws. As it was said in the previous comment- the dialogues aren't very satisfying. the acting is okay even though some of the supporting actors were poor (what do u expect). except for one - he was disappointing really, as a Malaysian he couldn't speak proper Malay although he's one of the big names involved in this film. And as for the bad grammar, i think thats the way its meant to be, cause the reality is Indonesians don't speak very good English. The message itself is great! I like it but it was a bit boring to be honest, and the opening credits were too long.

Good Stories, Bad Execution

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this film just a day after its premiere. Honestly, the topic of Bali Bombing was the reason I went to watch it. I really long for a humanism movie. The moment I watched it, I must say that indeed this film contains an everlasting message: there is no instant road to Heaven. One may have their own version of the road to heaven, but can he sacrifices other peoples to fulfill his vision? The message itself is very relevant to these days, where there are high doubts between nations, between religions, between peoples. So, why did I give the film only six stars? Simple, great stories with a bad execution. The dialogs are pretty flat. They really appears as a scripted dialogs, not a "live conversation". Some actors even appears as an emotionless talking figures. To make even worse, they speak English with a bad grammar, sometimes a very disturbing grammar. Overall, it is still a good movie in the memory of Bali Bombing. Just don't expect very much from it.
