It is completely interesting to find so many controversial and deep concepts in a program that most people think was intended just for kids...In today's episode we find our three main characters, Flash Gordon, Dale Arden and Doctor Zarkov having some trouble escaping from Ming's Palace after frustrating his plans of damaging the Earth crust with hurricanes and earthquakes by approaching Mongo to it and then invade it.
Then we see them being captured by a strange race of men very similar to the ones that we have seen as recreations of the possible look that the old Neanderthal or Java men had, just more grayish and greenish.
These men handcuff Flash, Dale and Dr. Zarcov with ropes and take them to an enormous place with an enormous statue made of greenish rocks and lead our heroes to its proximity. They had brought our heroes to receive instructions from the statue about what to do with them. The statue was a gigantic representation of Ming the Merciless. For these primitive men, Ming the Merciless was their god.
