I hate that Talia Bishop (Afton Williamson) left and why she left. Apparently the actress was abused by people on the show. She was my favorite. They barely mentioned her leaving, which was just wrong. Talia really stood out. The character and the fine actress deserved much more. Shame on everyone involved in this.

Doesn't disappoint

This was my favourite new show last year and this second season premiere didn't disappoint. Great cast (lots of Canadian talent: Nathan Fillion🇨🇦, Melissa O'Neill🇨🇦, Shawn Ashmore🇨🇦. I hope Sarah Shahi moves from guest star to series regular). Great writing. Great character arcs. Definitely maintaining my 9 (superb) out of 10 rating. {Police Drama}
Well done

The loss of a main character was glossed over but other than that, I can't see they did anything wrong with this first episode.
Nathan, whoever your personal trainer is needs a bonus. You look jacked, son.
And the look on your face before broken window scene? Badass mothertrucker.
Now THIS is how you start off a new season!

Wow, excellent start to season 2! Now THIS is how you start off a new season. It was a nice surprise to see Mark Cuban guest star. I hope they continue this trend with the occasional celebrity as a surprise guest. This season premier was a very unique and thrilling episode. The writers now have a challenge to one-up this series premier, and based on how this show has been improving, I am confident they will do so. It's a well deserved 10/10 from me!
Impressive come-back

Tim is my Guyyyyy

I was terrifiedddd going into this episode. After Tim collapsed at the end of season 1, I thought they'd use that opportunity to kill off his character and I would've hated that. Thankfully, that didn't happen. I also love the reactions of Grey and Bradford when Chen said she jumped down into the dumpster after the suspect. Loved that scene.
Best part of the episode? It's always great when Grey and Nolan team up, so that was fun. Also, "We're going to fight using a timer?" Loveddd that line.
Worst part of the episode? I never know how to feel about Jessica. It feels like we're supposed to think she's hiding something, but I don't know if I'm reading the situation correctly. Alsooo, Talia is gone! After the IA investigation was closed, that was the last thing I expected.

The Loss

Tim is escorted in an ambulance by the police, but when they reach the hospital, there is a terrorist waiting for them. Talia leaves LAPD to join ATF and Nolan is renovating a house of his own. Sgt. Grey extends the training period of West since he had a low grade in the exam.
"Impact" is an episode of "The Rookie" with the loss of the great and strong character performed by Afton Willianson (Talia Bishop). After losing the female captain, now Talia leaves the show. Nolan moved from the house of his friend Ben and now is living in his own house. My vote is eight.
