The Episode should be named Harlan
aday-demirel3 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
How the hell did Harlan run so fast, be suicidal, jump into the sea, swimming 15m, drowning quietly, sinking to the bottom and almost die -quick?

Slower episode
epiczico1 August 2020
I enjoyed this episode but it was a slow at parts. It was nice to see Lila's origin and her mission and how five knows some thing is up. Klaus was great as always but it did lack Ben at parts. The part with Dave was also good and Vanya using her powers was nice, the undercover part was good also and nice to see Grace before she was a robot.

The Majestic 12
chase18fiore4 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a bit of a mixed bag for me. Some storylines were incredibly engaging, while others just felt like a way to fill the space. I guess that's the downside to having each of the siblings deal with their own respective 1960s storyline. It great that each character has something to work with, but some storylines aren't as strong. Vanya's is definitely my favorite in this episode. Not only do we get one of the most visually appealing scenes of the series so far, but Vanya is truly finding happiness. Maybe losing her memory is a gift for her to take a break from all the baggage of her childhood. I hope she does regain her memories soon, but her time with Sissy and Harlan is sure to change her perspective from the season one finale. I'm interested to learn more about the Majestic 12 and their connection to JFK's assassination. They briefly mentioned the Roswell crash site, and it was then I remembered Reginald is actually from another planet. I also want to know what Five said to get Reginald's attention after the banquet. I'm enjoying Lila's backstory, and I'm sure her loyalty to Diego and the Handler will be tested soon. It was heartbreaking to see Dave punch Klaus because of his homophobic uncle, and I hate that Klaus is drinking again. Hopefully Allison can try to help him. Klaus is also the only one unaware of the new apocalypse, so it's not a great time for him to end his sobriety. I never really care about Luther anyways, but I found his whole storyline boring. I was happy to see him reunite with Allison, but that's about it. Almost halfway through the season, so I hope the story starts moving at a faster pace soon.

Another brilliant instalment with a fantastic fight scene and a poignant Vanya moment.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode was a little slower than the rest up until the end but it also happens to have some fantastic interactions between the cast as well as a wonderful moment for Vanya, who had felt a little underplayed this season up to this point. Also the hallway fight scene towards the end was fantastic. Honestly loving this season so far. I feel like season one walked so season two could fly.

Very Intense--Lila Enters the Adversarial Mix
Hitchcoc23 September 2023
With discovery that the old man is around, we go into some interesting stuff. Lila, who turns out to be the daughter of the Handler, sent to keep Five alive, for no apparent reason, puts another impediment into the show. But each of the siblings are working their ways back to the center. The Handler is like Zeus in Greek mythology, setting up situations where the demigods have to battle for survival. Of course, the next apocalypse is on its way, so can you say "urgency." I did find the rescue of Harlan a bit much because of the time frame. Now the old man knows that there are forces at work. The kids have not been born yet and that's a unique situation.

Vanya and Allison acting is so forced
unmultimedio22 December 2020
Scenes like when Allison is trying to explain to her husband about why is she there, or when Vanya and Harlan's mom are running after Harlan, Vanya just can't be sincere about using her powers.

The whole series, both seasons, have such a good story but most of the times the siblings are such bad actors.

can she not swim?
Calicodreamin18 August 2021
This episode had some cool effects, and one really good storyline reveal, but the plot is still unaccounted for and the characters are all running amok.

Weak writing, consistently
jeroen-10626 May 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Why would the husband of Allison, who loves her, turn around so abruptly based on what she whispered in a cops ear, while he was almost beaten to death? Do you think he would really notice under those circumstances? Would Ray not be much more grateful and loving, for her saving his life, regardless? Could she not make up a story about her being adopted and having two white brothers, and even if she can't explain it, wouldn't he be more forgiving?

It's all so weak - these kinds of mistakes keep stacking up. Writing with constraints and a certain rigor matters.

LOTS of anachronisms
richardderus15 August 2020
Long haired, poorly dressed people entering Dallas society in 1963. Hahaha Cars from 1965 in 1963. ::facepalm:: "It's just a TV show" won't cut it.

Communist Lies
tarnishedhalotx20 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Overall this is a good episode, but one part, one line left me so angry I couldn't enjoy it. Klaus tells the boy that he fell in love with in Vietnam that the Vietnam war will be pointless, communism doesn't invade & spread through east Asia, which is a LIE! After South Vietnam fell to North, communism spread to Laos & Cambodia & in South Vietnam over a million were sent to "re-education" camps, approx. 250,000 died, and an estimated 200,000 died in shoddy boats trying to escape & that's just Vietnamese. Want to know why, go to prageru. com, type Vietnam into their search & learn why we lost Vietnam, how US Congress betrayed South Vietnam & broke the Paris Peace Accords.

Inhumans, but with high production, but more senseless script, if that's even possible
jere_zabala21 December 2020
It amazes how no one can realize how bad this show is, I mean, technically it has MILLION failures, but it's not only bad technically, the script is extremely boring, slow, the actors has -100% chemistry, a lot of scenes has NO SENSE AT ALL, the powers are 0% original and some doesnt have sense either, I mean, everything is a disaster in here, did someone romoured this to people like it even is the worst show ever?? a mistery.
