I like the character and actresses Bishop. I have to confess that I think I'm too old to understand anything other than him and her, but I can accept and don't care if there's a they/them although I certainly will/would make mistakes since it's not something I've learned before and don't have the op to use as I don't know anyone that use they/them.
Having said all that, I wanted to get out ahead of what I expect will be some negative reviews because it doesn't really matter. This is one of the few shows where I think this subject is integrated into the story without a lot of impact on the main story. Too often when shows cover the subject they destroy the show's story, but the writers here did a good job.
Beyond that, the overall story also is moving in a real good direction with back stories and intrigue. Makes me hope the show will be renewed, but who knows.
