I really like Bishop
MiketheWhistle28 February 2020
I like the character and actresses Bishop. I have to confess that I think I'm too old to understand anything other than him and her, but I can accept and don't care if there's a they/them although I certainly will/would make mistakes since it's not something I've learned before and don't have the op to use as I don't know anyone that use they/them.

Having said all that, I wanted to get out ahead of what I expect will be some negative reviews because it doesn't really matter. This is one of the few shows where I think this subject is integrated into the story without a lot of impact on the main story. Too often when shows cover the subject they destroy the show's story, but the writers here did a good job.

Beyond that, the overall story also is moving in a real good direction with back stories and intrigue. Makes me hope the show will be renewed, but who knows.

Disappointed

Really was enjoying this series until the last couple of episodes. Does every show have to have gay/trans stuff?!?!? Enough already!!!

Good, but comes with baggage...
The direction of the show seems good, with good intentions. However, with inclusion of everything/everyone into every series nowadays, there is no place for separation anymore. Relationships are relationships, plain and simple. People change, priorities change...life goes on.

Lordy, lordy pudding and pie

If there was a Fat Nixon sycophant who could force themselves to watch this ep from beginning to end without screaming and crying over the dialogue that threatens their special snowflake of a world, I do believe they might harm themselves at its conclusion. And my, what a wonderful sight that would be.

the jury is still out

The under sheriff jerry london has taken nefarious steps to insure he will replace bill hollister as the sheriff ... through 9 episodes all we have seen from london is greed avarice and sloth ... i frankly don't see why hollister put up with the goof for this long...i would have fired him on day 2 ... so the next episode will be the tale of the ratings ... will deputy continue or flail its wings and flop ... i think it will go at least 2 more seasons

This show has become a morality compass
joeholcor3 March 2020
What the heck are the writers and producers doing with broadcasting their agenda of transgender community??? Half the show is worth watching but the other half tries to set a moral tone that the viewer should live by. I think I'm done with this show. The main actor is someone I've enjoyed watching in previous movies and I like his work but this takes it to a different level with forcing leftist agenda down your throat.
