  • A young man is video chatting with a young woman and she briefly lowers her shirt, revealing her bra underneath. Mild.

Violence & Gore

  • A hijacker shoots a man in the chest, and bloody holes can be seen.
  • A car crashes into another car, which goes over a bridge and falls down to a lower road into the path of oncoming traffic, upside down. A man is pulled from the car.
  • A rat crawls into a sniper's pant leg and bites him, causing him to accidentally fire his gun and shoot his target, a man, in the head. The man is seen slumping over with a large blood spurt. The blood is seen on the window and wall behind him, and it's seen again later.
  • The hijackers fire their guns at Garber at one point, and he runs behind a moving train to avoid the bullets.
  • A man steps in front of a gun that is being held on another person and the man is shot three times in the chest (his body flinches and blood spurts), and collapses to the ground with a thump while other people are terrified.
  • A man with a bloodied face is shown being shot point-blank in the chest: shots are heard ringing out, blood is shown bursting from the wounds and he slumps over.
  • A man is shot in the chest and blood is shown splattering onto the face of a woman standing beside him as he falls to the ground.

  • A man holds a gun to the head of another man who is punched by another man; the man drops to the ground and we see the man later with blood over his nose, mouth and chin.
  • Men are shown sneaking onto subway cars, holding a gun to the back of a woman and threatening her with being shot; she is punched in the face and we see her with a bloody nose.
  • Cars are shown driving recklessly through city streets, one car is violently t-boned by a semi, it rolls on its top, crushes over a taxi, flips off an overpass, and causes two other vehicles to slam into it (two bloodied men are pulled from the car).
  • Two men are surrounded by dozens of armed police, they all open fire, the two men are shown being riddled with countless bullets, their bodies lurching as the bullets strike them and blood erupts from the wounds; the men fall to the ground and we see their bloodied bodies.
  • A man holds a motorman at gunpoint, and then hits him in the face. Blood is seen trickling from his nose later.
  • The whole movie is about a group of terrorists hijacking a train and holding passengers hostage.
  • A motorman is shot, blood is shown spraying out.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There's a scene where a train is charging at full speed down the track, this may be too intense for some.
  • Ryder shoots the train conductor and a citizen repeadly before they fall down dead. Pretty disturbing.
  • A very intense movie throughout. Many intense scenes include Travolta menacing in exaggerated ways.
  • The several onscreen shooting deaths are graphic and sudden.
  • A man violently grabs a young man from a crowd and holds a gun to his forehead while screaming at him; the man threatens to shoot him and begins to count down but does not fire and walks away.

  • The two other hijackers, with guns, are seen being shot to death by a large group of cops. Lots of blood is shown spraying out of the wounds. Most violent moment in the film.
