In Which Howard Gets Double Booked
Prismark1028 October 2021
I had some issues with the character of Howard. I think the Howard/Marina story had run out of steam years ago.

However I had no issues with how Robert Fyfe played him. He did it with gusto. Howard was at times an overgrown school kid still wearing shorts as he explores nature with Marina. He died in September 2021. Who will Howard choose in the afterlife?

In this episode Howard decides to take Pearl out for a fancy meal. He even asks Auntie Wainwright for advice as to the best place for some slap up nosh.

It turns out to be pub grub at the Fox and Duck. Nelly also tags along.

Mischievous Truly tells Marina that Howard will be asking her out tonight for a meal.

Now Howard needs to be in two places at once. Entwistle's fast truck and some bandages after rescuing a child from a savage dog might be the answer.

You can sense there will be sore heads all round for this one. Even some whiplash.

A Dog called Smith?

Howard finally caves in to pressure from Pearl, and takes her to The Fox and Duck for a meal, together with Nelly, trouble is Marina is also expecting a meal at the same time.

I really enjoyed it, a pretty clever scenario for a change, not the usual string of daft events, this was actually well crafted, and contains some good laughs.

Poor Howard always seems to be in trouble, and he's really landed right in it here, Truly and Norman seem to take great delight in dropping him in it.

If you want to see Howard as an even greater back of nerves than usual, you'll enjoy this, 8/10.
