Kind of interesting to old horror movie fans

This is a truly unusual short film that was recently posted on IMDb for viewing. It's a step by step film showing how a group of makeup artists created an amazingly accurate rendition of how Glenn Strange looked when he was made up by makeup legend Jack Pierce for such legendary films as ABBOTT AND COSTELLO MEET FRANKENSTEIN as well as HOUSE OF FRANKENSTEIN and HOUSE OF Dracula. According to the film, this was supposed to be done in order to make a tribute film about Pierce but it never materialized. In subsequent years at this convention they made people up to look like the Boris Karloff version of Frankenstein and I assume it, too, was dead-on like the one made for this film.

I guess that instead of throwing away this short film they decided to just release it despite the longer tribute film not being made. I enjoyed it because you get to see just how much work it took to create the monster.
