Tucker Carlson Tonight: Third Anniversary Show
lavatch14 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
November 14, 2019 marked the third anniversary of Tucker's show, and a clip was played from 2016, indicating that the program would essentially be exposing the mendacity of the political swamp of America. That was a prescient message in 2016, and it is a timely one today as the House impeachment inquiry continues.

Tucker led with a segment on the media meltdown and how the hysteria of the leftist newsroom anchors is having virtually no effect on the American public. Even a recent CNN poll suggested that the Democrats' impeachment plan is not working.

The news anchors are trying in vain to make the case that we should believe that the impeachment madness has a method. In fact, it is not on the level. Those who question the rationale for impeachment are labeled as "brainwashed" merely for challenging the party line. This is no more than a ruse.

Tucker read from a Bloomberg internet capsule that made the claim that a handful of "loyalists" led by Rudy Giuliani have "wrested control from the diplomats." This astonishing position is, of course, a twisted inversion of the Constitution, wherein the power to set diplomatic policy is vested in an elected official, who represents the wishes of the people. The policy itself is not formed by the diplomats, but by the President.

Former CIA officer Buck Sexton joined Tucker. Sexton observed that the current inquiry is not about facts, but rather the pushing of an agenda. Meanwhile, the media is grasping at straws for their "Watergate moment" that will somehow incriminate Trump. But, it is really all about theatrics. The lack of integrity in journalism suggests that the current Zeitgeist will get worse. Sexton also made the point that whenever the media labels an individual "beyond reproach," the exact opposite is likely for such shills as Brennan, Clapper, Comey, and McCabe in the current partisan fiasco.

Tucker also reviewed yesterday's appearance on CNN of Kellyanne Conway, who was questioned about her marriage by host Wolf Blitzer. Conway's response completely put Blitzer in the popcorn machine, after he stated that there were "issues" in her marriage. Conway was having nothing of Blitzer's attempt to deflect the conversation away from the impeachment sham.

Another point about Kellyanne Conway made by Tucker was the enduring collaboration of Conway and Trump. Each has steadfastly stood by the other through a barrage of criticism starting with the inauguration. Guest Mark Steyn observed that CNN's attempt to besmirch Conway is at the same level as the "Foggy Bottom stuff" being retailed by the congenital liar Schiff running his McCarthy-esque hearing on Capitol Hill.
