Outstanding

The story telling was powerful, entertaining and fantastic! I'm so glad I have a respite from the drudgery that is our messed up world. Superbly told and drawn.

Warning: Spoilers
Incredible episode, never expected what started as what seemed to be another dark and disturbing episode(especially considering the previous one) to end on such a high. That witch had possibly some of the best character development I've seen for any individual in a matter of minutes. I have to say what really impressed me was Spear's reaction near the end, it seemed like he knew the witch died when Fang was broken out of the trance, and that look back was like him acknowledging her sacrifice. Easy 10/10 for me, best episode of the series so far imo

Now on a side-note, what are some of you going on about with the magic? If this show had the intention of being prehistorically-accurate, Spear and Fang wouldnt have made it past Episode 1. And even worse, yall have trouble with magic, but zero issues with humans living among dinosaurs? Lmao, did yall think the Flintstones aired on National Geographic?

I cried. I can't believe it, but I actually did.

One of the most monumental and emotional episodes of ONE OF THE GREATEST ANIMATED SHOWS OF ALL TIME, this episode actually brought me to tears. What a feat it is, to be able to tell a story through the medium of animation and be able to reach the core of what makes us human. It's so relatable, and wondrous.

I had to relive painful moments from earlier episodes, but the creators did it in such a smart way, the audience relives it all vicariously through the perspective of an unexpected character that the audience can sympathize with, which made it all the more unbearable.

Rarely has anything hit me so hard, let alone a show with virtually no dialogue. But show, especially this episode, got me good. It got me good, man. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.

I never thought I would actually care about a TV show, but man. This episode was something I never thought possible. I CANT even explain how it felt, was, and is.

Did the magic break the prehistoric universe yes
bingejunkie28 June 2023
Yes ,the magic did break the prehistoric world But,, damn this was one of the best episode for me The emotions and bonds between the charater are well shown,, outstanding art work, The show was so real until this episode ,, But who knows, maybe there was magic in that time period , I loved every second of this episode ,,,, 100 percent satisfied ,, for me .

The art work in this episode is really good and the story line too...it has the power to grasp the audience attention and maybe even make them cry at the end of the episode..If you haven't watched this series ,go on hurry up and watch it,,,enjoy.

Perfect.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode (though the others are just beautiful) was my favorite for so many different reasons. It starts off with a very eerie feel and then falls into sheer terror. Durring this terror it begins to give you a sense of detachment and longing. You start to feel for something you didn't think you would. It takes a turn to an unexpected sentimental connection. Then ends with a savior who in death recieve the peace they'd longed for. It was beautiful through and through. And yes, though I tried my best, I couldn't stop the damn from breaking and tears rushing. Superbulous job to say the least.

Magic breaks the prehistoric universe.
Marathonmax29 October 2020
This was under not circumstances a bad episode. Extremely well written, crafted and directed. But i felt that the magic takes us out of the prehistoric universe and becomes a bit too fantasy. The premise of Spear and fangs setting, is an vast realistic (that we know of) prehistoric world. Not a magical kingdom where everything is possible. Its great when the series upscale dinosaurs, spiders and snakes etc. but introducing magic took me a bit out of the story.

Wishful thinking and magic
AlekMitch25 June 2022
I liked this episode, though it was a bit on the boring side. Rather creative, which I like though I didn't like the ending.

The show once again went into the magic realm, which wasn't bad on it's own, after all, we learned from the beginning that this show isn't about reality. Sadly, they inserted that afterlife part. I just hope they don't throw in Jesus and tarot as well in the next episodes.

Jumping the shark 1/10
interestingstuff7 December 2022
This show was never famous for making sense or being logical but this episode takes the special cake for jumping the shark and being extremely moronic to a point that I can't help but wonder if it was written by a 5 year old child or someone that's simply extremely stupid.

What is this even supposed to be? Supernatural? After life? Dream? Time travel? It just ends up being confusing soup of nonsense, idiocy and extreme stupidity which also explains why it got such a high rating since most people these days love moronic stuff and absolutely hate anything that makes sense or requires the slightest amount of logic. People worship stupidity as if it's a great trait to have these days.

The more stupid and moronic a TV episode is, the higher rating it gets from people who tells me so much about where humanity is headed and doesn't give me much hope about future of this world.
