The acting in this is seriously top notch and when awards season rolls around I hope this show receives the recognition it deserves. It kicks off right where it left off, I am so invested in this and can't wait to find out what happens next

It's back, baby!

Finally! We take off right after the season finale. We (the audience) found out in the finale what/who the "real" baby is. Sean, Dorothy, Julian et all, do not know yet.
Sean continues to lose his senses, one by one. He has already lost the sense of taste and smell. And now he has lost the sense of touch, ie feeling pain.

Really good start but..

Servant was one my most anticipated tv shows . And I got to say the start didn't disappoint . Excellent directing and acting . But it's SO short . Look I love series with short episodes but one episode a week ? I hope the other are at least 35 minutes
WE ARE BACK

Already counting down the minutes until the next episode. The dialogue in this show literally makes my jaw drop sometimes, queue the scene at the end where Dorothy and Shaun are arguing . This season is about to get CRAZY.

Dorothy is sewrching her son. The police is here and try to find the baby. Nathaly conviced the policeman that she is mad. Dorothy now want to find her son. And the investigations arround the sect are pretty interesting. And they have an intriguing letter. Still intriguing and pleasant to watch.

Great start for a season 2 opener this shows is getting better and so for there is so much chills and thrills that causes you to want more as the credits goes up.An ensemble cast followed by a a dark and intriguing plot, thumbs up for M. Night Shyamalan, he is on his game again.
Looks awesome M.Night

I was looking forward to this second season. My one year free subscription should have ended in November '20 and this was the one show that I have been anticipating to watch. Good thing Apple extended my subscription or I might not have known how good a start this second season has gotten off to. The episodes are shorter, but M.Night explains why that is on one of the extras videos about this show. I highly recommend watching that extra video where M.Night is interviewed about this show. I liked it as much as the show and agreed with the direction he is heading. He is really putting a good deal of artistry back into psychological horror with his expertise in timing, camera composition, the tension he builds by slowing down the pace of scenes so the viewer, myself, can appreciate the intrigue details he adds to the frame.
If he makes a third season, I probably won't subscribe for the whole year unless Apple has some other amazing productions in between the time.. But I will definitely pop back in to finish how this great M.Night show is ends. Thus far, feels like a 9/10

Nonetheless the burn on Sean's hand irked me all episode. He may not feel pain but the burn will get infected without proper medical care.
Isn't that human nature? If it doesn't hurt then it's alright?
The situation certainly seems impossible. The cops are out of the picture. Dorothy cannot possibly go back to work because she will tell everyone the kid is missing. Sean and Julian and the holistic doctor are the only ones who can do anything and they do not seem very adept.
Makes be all the more sure the doll concept was a really bad one. Or at least carried on too long.

Creepy as ever, but the story doesn't get going (yet)

Warning: Spoilers
Effortlessly creepy, claustrophobic, yet gently paced to ratch up the tension, Servant has always been a great show. Ultimately there are two types of Servant episode: those with huge twists, plot points and occasional new characters; and those episodes that just hold the mood for half an hour, as if pondering which direction the show should take next.
This season opener is one of the latter.
Continuing from the moment the finale ended, if you loved the first season of Sevant then you are probably salivating over any new footage. Just maybe wait for a few more episodes to become available to binge if you crave story exposition and anything more than an extended ending to season 1 episode 10.
Also, last time I checked a 2nd or 3rd degree burn wouldn't be something you would just casually slam a book with or use to hold your weight on a bed. Seems strange to emphasis how bad it was, then to virtually ignore it beneath a bandage at all other times without barely a winch.
