I have not given up.

This show is a delight to watch and I never miss an episode. The show received a severe blow when George Eads left. I could tell the chemistry between Lucas Till and George Eads really carried the show. I hope he comes back someday but I don't know if he has burned his bridges or nor. The replacements are good but it is not the same. There is still something missing and I cannot put my finger on it. I don't think it will be right unless George Eads (Jack Dalton) returns. However I Iwish Mr. Eads all the best in whatever he is doing.

Like the other reviewer, the Codex story line is very, very old and I hope it ends very soon. It is like when Sliders got stuck on the story line about the Cromags or like Supernatural is long overdue to move on from the Angel Wars story.

As for those still with the show, keep trying to make it work and I have not given up.

Too fast?

Warning: Spoilers
Is the whole fake betrayal happening too fast? I fell like there should have been one more episode before we get the whole betrayal act.

I have a feeling that either Macgyver's Mother or Father is alive. It's more likely to be his Mother but you never know. Who else could be giving Gwen orders?

I'm guessing a lot of MacRiley fans are happy that Macgyver and Desi

Too Much for Too Long

I've watched MacGyver since the beginning and I guess I'm not a very loyal fan. I only enjoy about half of the episodes but I hate this Codex storyline! It's been going on for several weeks and it looks like it will go on until the end of the season. I may need to cull this show from my viewing list.

Wrecked it...

Warning: Spoilers
I've watched this series since it began. Action-packed, full of insurmountable threats and problems, fantastic situations, crazy solutions and wild stunts. Fun. So it was lots of action, ridiulous situations, and good humour thrown in. Was. Then they had to make it serious...all this heavy personal stuff with Mac, dragging on and on, nothing but moaning and whining and Codex - then in this episode the unbelievable "betrayal" - I couldn't believe what I was seeing - they were all in on that prison set-up, then we're supposed to believe they'd throw all there years of friendship and trust out the window and believe Mac had defected because in his undercover he was too convincing?? Really?? I didn't think even the actors bought it - they didn't appear to deliver those lines convincingly at all. This can't be fixed, the "team" is no more - can't go back to caring, friendship and trust from here. They had a good thing, and they wrecked it.

Bad writing or bad acting
gwyneth-5663222 April 2021
I have been watching this show from the beginning and am not sure if its the writers or the actors who do not know the difference between CAVALRY which are the soldiers who ride on horseback or CALVARY which is the hill on which Christ was crucified.

Earlier in the show it was Bozer who said and in this episode it is Maddie who should know the difference.
