The rule of thumb seems to be that if there's been a good episode of this show then the next will be a stinker.
And this is the weakest episode of the show yet.
Carol is condescending - finally another character has pointed it out! And it's that peer review from Daniel that forms the main plot of a miserable episode. It's actually quite embarrassing to see a sitcom of Patricia Heaton's standing go through the motions here, straining to make the dialogue work.
Not for the first time the B storyline (not involving Carol) is the better one, with Lexi learning to connect with a patient a little more.
Weak.
