The Charmed Ones are back for a third season! I binged the first two seasons several months ago, so this is my first time getting to watch the show weekly. This was a solid episode, but didn't quite feel like a premiere. That's to be somewhat expected since the pandemic stopped production on the last season prematurely. Even so, this was an enjoyable episode as the Charmed Ones get back to business in their blooming battle against the Faction. Macy was able to prove to Julian that black amber wasn't going to save his sister, so luckily he plans to help them stop his aunt. Viv also got some mysterious item at the end of the episode to help her take magic for herself, so it should be interesting to see where the story goes next. I'm so glad that Harry didn't go through with having his feelings for Macy wiped by Maggie. The whole back and forth between Hacy last season dragged on a bit too much for me, so I want to just see them happy. I doubt all problems for their relationship will end here, but I'm glad Harry is all in. Maggie's powers continue to grow, and it was pretty hilarious seeing Mel go through the emotion manipulation. The Charmed Ones also made a potion for Jimmy and sent him on his merry way. The potion has forced him to believe he is a good man, and it seems that rhetoric is going to spread through England like a virus. This is likely the last we see of Jimmy for that very reason. Jordan and Abigael also had a fun team up where Jordan had a limited time to save a descent of the Tulipe witches. I wonder how many witches he will have to save before his curse is broken.
