I'm wondering why was this movie given soo much hype, may be it would mislead the audience in B and C centres and that bought the movie into limelight! Plot is unique but it fails create any impact, most of the artist performance looks artificial. Better to skip than wasting time!

All characters fit...except that police Arun...worst acting...eyes becomes blind...over acting...he thinks like Raghavan... should have made some other to act in that role. .Richiii fantastic work

The plot inside this movie is good but the stupid director has added his caste in this and added revenge, ok revenge is better but the useless caste is being added and which made the movie a garbage, I don't know how the hell this was released in theatres.

It is totally a hatred spreading movie which leads to unnecessary disturbance between particular societies.

It's not at all a movie. Story: There's no such thing as story Bluntly some dialogues to provoke a certain group of people so that they could make money.

Director has to learn a lot about movie making. Mohan please read some books and gain a little knowledge before taking another movie.

Even I don't want to go into the story of the movie very amateur direction and acting . Its like watching telefilm ( even they make better ) . Nothing in these movie . It's a trash and B grade movie . What they are trying to portray, at least they must give some engaging screenplay . Total waste , went to the movie because of social media buildups and expectations . Nothing in it , only saving grace is some what ok acting from the protagonist and actress Sheela . Don't waste your time watching these movie . Better avoid it . Can't give lower than one ...

Think in a perspective of a father , this movie this movie tells what exactly what is happening now. Boys who wanted settle down using wife's background and without getting job they are taking this crooked route and this movie outlines how the whole girls family is destroyed due to this act. Most of the critics for this movie had given by younger generation especially from boys supporting register marriage. If they give birth to a girl baby and grownup the rating will also grow from 1 to 10.

This film making is very amature. Even debut short filmmaker also take good than this. It movie taken for show the vanniyar caste pride. This movie filled with cringe scenes. If you have time mooditu poi vera etha nalla padama paaru..

It's a blockbuster movie, which may not be outspoken by mainstream media. Background music put us in a trance state where the events shown simple looks real as if it's happening right in front of us. A powerful story line that keep us in the edge of the seats till the end. For a low budget movie the performance of actors was simply superb.

Most of all this movie is going to open a gate way for many low budget movies with a good story line.

Content of the film shows how women easily get cheated in the name of love and focussed on the register mariage Scam happened in one of the register offices in Chennai.. Few places show cased his community due to this Draupathi potrayed as a Caste based movie...but which is not as such.. After the trailer release film makes a remarkable place in Kollywood.. expectation boommed in all places.. Could see ppl celebrated Draupathi in theatres.. unbelievable that this movie budget is less than 50 lakhs.. Crew did there best.. casting good.. Richard played 2 different roles.. His acting was good but much improvisation needed in few places..Heroine sheela did her part well as Draupathi.. villans ilango and RK did there part well.. Direction team did the grt job.. Kudos to direction team.. cinematography by manoj was damn good..We could feel the village environment in front of our eyes..Music director Jubin also did a grt job.. his music played important role in this film.. bgm was too damn good.. 2 songs came up well.. Screenplay little lag in second half.. lenghty second half.. no options to reduce as director needs to convey the core of the film.. Overall good movie..

The whole point of making this movie itself is to encourage violence among the different ethnic groups in Tamil Nadu. The plot is based on the subject, that all those who get into inter caste love marriage with a girl of higher caste, is for their money. Bad cinematography, bad morals and bad execution. Whole second half is boring.

The movie Draupathi promote itself as 'fight for a justice against the 'Fake love (Naadaga kadhal)', but in this film they presumably speak against the intercaste love. They use the name 'Fake love' as just a frame. 'Naadaga Kadhal' happens in all categories of society. But in this film they portray fake loves are only planned by lower caste person (they showed as villan) for money and properties. They tried to justify the misconception that 'when oppressed boy/girl loves so-called upper caste boy/girl that was only for Money and properties. If their intention is giving awareness about 'Naadaga kadhal', they could picturize the film in general manner. But they didn't. This content literally creates fear instead of awareness to the common parents and girls on love. That's their need. Because love is biggest disturbance for so-called upper caste (mental)ities. The supporters said that this movie is for females. I said 'When they compare women (ponnu) with soil(mannu- immovable property), then how we can expect a progressive female portrayal from them. Finally we can agree with one point that 'Naadaga kadhal' but not in the way that shown in this movie. Please ignore this film Because these kind of movies will encourage honour killings. Provocative, threatening, communal movie. Castiest, male chauvinists and women who accept slavery are found celebrating this gutter.

Worst kind of movie. No story, no screen play nothing at all.. all along the movie the crowd that came to watching the film shooting also visibly seen in frames..

This is not a traditional movie but an end-to-end informative narative presented with engaging screenplay.

Movie insists the innocent youngs girls lured by criminals of the society, to become careful and well informed. There are several anti-social groups revolving around our society to commit crimes against the women and they will be shaking their legs after this movie.

Every single parent of the young girls including the girls should watch this movie not for the benefit of the producer but for their own life lesson.

Simply we are expecting more movies in similar genre to make a safer society for girls & women.

Hats off to the director for this brilliant and bold presentation.
