Be kind
littleapple-5029920 January 2021
This user: byl-90522, only goes around giving bad reviews. I'm not religious but I believe it's nice when people can pray and have hope. That's what I love about this show! It's close to sad reality but the kindness and hope it talks about always put a smile on my face. Please be kind and respectful to each others' beliefs!

Prayer changes things
dhellyer25 June 2022
Loved this ep. I love that prayer was used because it really does change things! Miracles happen everyday (but so do disasters). Although life is not always fair, it's amazing that we can still hope in prayer.

STOP with the religious garbage

I absolutely love New Amsterdam but I am sick and tired of the producers forcing their religious garbage on us, it is a scientific FACT that prayer does NOT work, I am seriously thinking of giving up

I adore New Amsterdam, BUT this is SAD...

Warning: Spoilers
2 things bothered me about this episode... The first is the INCOMPLETE information (really MIS-I FORMATION) about Vaping. The Vaping community, I'm sure, will agree. There's been SO MUCH controversy about the subject, but while the CDC was mentioned thru out about the medical treatment, absolutely NOTHING was detailed about the young man's exact type of Vaping he was using. Looking at the CDC's website, it's VERY SPECIFIC about the Vaping of unregulated THC. This episode targeted the entire Vaping community... T second is the suggestion of the "Power of Prayer". Again, I'm specifically referring to the same young man. The condition the young man had AND the damages to his throat, heart and lungs, as depicted in the episode, should have left him DEAD. They lead you to believe that a prayer lead to his "mysterious recovery. On the CDC's website, THC and vitamin e acetate are what has caused this Vaping issue. Most of the Vaping community use the products for actual smoking cigarettes cessation. I have been Vaping for the past 7 years, every physical, lung x-ray and breathing apptitude test has shown no problem. I DON'T use THC, but I do enjoy the flavors and CBD liquids. My personal Dr is quite happy with the fact I no longer smoke and finds no problems with me Vaping. This is the FIRST TIME I've ever written a review, but this specific episode hit a nerve. To anyone I may have upset, sorry... But I feel the research was NOT done &/or portrayed properly. I truly love this series, but I felt the need to speak out. Have a good day everyone.
