So, 50% of the actual staff that serve the food on this show (the ones usually in all black), not only did NOT sign waivers to be filmed, but signed an alternate paper to not be filmed. This show broke that agreement. Additionally, most people who work as "butlers" for WP catering are performers, and most of them are members of SAG.... I'm surprised SAG has done nothing.
The reality of wpc is the food is too salty, some of it's okay, the short rib is usually dry and gross, soooooooo much food is thrown out at the end of events b/c the sales staff oversells the client.
The sales staff also stole the tips the clients signed off on for the serving staff... they were sued and lost, but lawyers then took most of the lost tips.
During events, things 99% go very smoothly, but then some "captains" just start yelling at servers for no reason when management shows up, b/c they want to look like they're doing something, but meanwhile they seem to be oblivious to their surroundings sometimes.
There are upper management and clients accost and border on, or actually, physically assault servers sometimes. No hands should ever be put on a person unless it's to protect someone from a spilling pot, etc.
Don't watch this show, it's BS.
