A lovely film about doing what you love being the journey!
evelyne-814 October 2020
This was really a lovely film about allowing life to lead you to doing what you love. The film follows a band, a lovely group of musicians trusting in music and doing what you love to lead the way. There are so many films about ambition, pushing to "GET SOMEWHERE" this was so refreshing to allow the journey and now the destinations. An the gem was the sweet music and beautiful seaside road trips and venues along the way.

The theme is enjoy the journey along the way to the destination

It's all about taking the time to smell the roses along the way. Hats off to a film that is all about enjoying the journey not just pushing through to the destination as you'll miss all the really good stuff along that journey. Beautiful scenery enjoyable lighthearted inspirational film to watch. It's relevant because today in this covid-19 world we are learning to slow down and look at things in our lives in interesting new ways.

The music is nice

The film is just random musicians playing music, and sometimes talking. Most of the film, is video taken from vehicles, driving on the road. Music, talking, driving pretty much sums it up.

The cinematography is what an untalented, 19 year old can produce, at best.

I would recommend this as a good film to fall asleep to.

Music and travel for the soul

This was an absolutely lovely film. A documentary about music and travel. And how music can bring people together. The whole film is a beautiful sigh of relief in a stressful world and news cycle. It's beautifully shot and oh so wonderfully human. I loved the music and the whole traveling band. Thank you for this!

Great film about taking life a little more 'in the slow lane'. Beautifully shot, great music and some wonderful advice on how to best live life 'to the fullest'. More is not always better. Worth a watch and I recommend.

A Unique and Pretty Documentary
JGReviews9 October 2020
With - A Journey to The Slow Life is a unique and pretty documentary. I like to think of these films as an experience more than anything. It's a peaceful, almost meditative narrative involving a simpler life, a "slow life", that emphasizes family, friendship, and connection. The music and cinematography are quite lovely and really enhance our journey here. If you're looking for a film that will offer you a different experience and one that will leave you feeling better after having watched it, then check out With - A Journey to The Slow Life.
