The BBC choose to run a story about Isaac Turner, however they are redirected when Garland steps in.
The first episode was quite staggering, I was expecting there to be something of a lull in this second, but it was just as good, an excellent continuation, it's an intense, fast paced affair.
You'll need to concentrate, as you could easily miss something, try and avoid fiddling with your phone. It's a mix of genres, it's a heavy political drama, with several elements mixed in.
Good drama should be thought provoking as well as entertaining and absorbing, this certainly was, it makes you question if everything you're seeing is as it should be, similar to the way that The Undeclared War did recently.
I really enjoyed watching Lia Williams here, Garland is such a tough cookie, she'd devoid of any personality. Indira Varma was great also as the prickly Newsnight host.
9/10.
