I remember seeing The Men's Room, a British mini-series, back in the 1990s, and it was quite controversial and quite explicit. The Men's Room is set in 1980s amidst the era of Conservative Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and also the savage cuts to sociological studies at British universities. Anyway, this mini-series pretty much launched Bill Nighy's career, with Bill Nighy playing Bill Nighy or roles to that effect. I didn't know that Harriet Walter, who plays Charity Walton, is the niece of legendary actor Christopher Lee.
Here Charity's husband James embarks on an affair with his secretary.
