Shows how bad the world is
dannylee-780828 September 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Loved the old scavenging vibe that this episode gave. But compared to when Aaron were looking for people, the world is different. There are not many people worth saving. Those who are alive are all broken. Every single one of them.

Almost felt like a boring filler episode until it wasn't.

The twin reveal was actually crazy...

Easily the best 10c episode
sebastianbejramirez14 March 2021
I like most came in with tepid expectations but I was impressed by the quality of the episode. Easily the best 10c episode giving character development to two characters whom deserve more spotlight.

Thank you TWD
amine-201011 April 2021
Even in this pandemic the crew still love fans so much, look what they give us with just 3 actors perfect scens and kills and perfect acting and amazing directing , imagine if Rick grimes was in this position what's gonna happen? Gabriel started to be.my favorite but actor Patrick was phenomenal and scary.

What an insane episode!
VOIIIXI9 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
That ending was absolutely insane. I'm still in shock at what. I could not believe he actually did that, after all that!!!! After all that talk!! And then it shocks you again after that. 2 plot twists. Oh my goodness this episode is nuts. It doesn't seem like something Gabriel would do but considering everything that's happened it kinda makes sense. And after seeing the ending it was the right choice.

Spectacular
gj-y0514 March 2021
While I've personally enjoyed the last two episodes, I understand why some others didn't.However, this episode was absolutely amazing. Its a perfect mix between light hearted, almost comedy, to extremely dark, intense and terrifying scenes. Seth Gilliam, Ross Marquand, and Robert Patrick are all spectacular actors! Gabriels drunken single shot story was very impressive as well!

Mankind Is Evil
claudio_carvalho15 January 2024
Gabriel and Aaron are following Maggie's map to scavenge the area. They reach a store where Aaron finds a boar locked in a steel cabinet and Gabriel finds an expensive bottle of whiskey hidden in a desk. They make a barbecue with the boar and drink the whiskey playing poker. They disclose secrets about their lives to each other while playing poker. During the night, Aaron goes to the toilet and Gabriel sleeps. When he wakes up, Aaron is mission and a stranger with a a shotgun brings his arm. Gabriel asks for Aaron, and the stranger questions his faith. Soon he brings Aaron tied up to a chair and raises a dispute between them two to prove that mankind is evil.

"One More" is a filler episode of "The Walking Dead" with a good storyline. The presence of Robert Patrick performing Mays is a plus in the episode. It is amazing how Mays is right losing the faith in the mankind, and Gabriel proves his point. The reaction of Aaron showing a great surprise with Gabriel's attitude is the best part of the show. This episode is sad but shows in what type of race human beings have become after the zombie apocalypse. My vote is seven.

Title (Brazil): "Um Mais" (bad Portuguese, equivalent to "More One")

One of the best episodes of season 10
plusTVReviews14 March 2021
To be completely honest, I did not have very high expectations for a Gabriel and Aaron centric episode, my god how wrong I was. Laura Belsey directed an incredible episode, in collaboration with the writers Jim Barnes and Erik Mountain.

The perfect balance between important character development and intensity. Where the first half gave us memorable scenes with good dialogue, the second half felt like a psychological thriller. Seth Gilliam delivered one of the series' best monologues, in a scene that must be one of the series' longest shots, in well over three minutes. Insanely impressive. Robert Patrick was a welcome addition as the crazy and unstable character Mays.

The moral dilemmas and a highly unexpected concluding twist contribute to a very solid and memorable ending to an unexpected but near-perfect episode. Bravo.

Minus 2 points...1 for each time they killed off Robert Patrick! Was really hoping to see more of him. Excellent episode though. TWD is back!

Took me by surprise
kaiblemalandris14 March 2021
I honestly didn't expect to be as blown away by this episode, but here we are! Father Gabriel has been slowly making his way up my ranking of favourite characters (as has Aaron) and this episode really made me think about how much the two have changed over the series.

A step up
Rob-O-Cop14 March 2021
Some interesting details in this episode. Actually dealing with the more interesting issues of living in the Walking Dead Universe. I liked the things they discovered on the roof top, indicating a bigger complicated story, one of an endless supply that the universe offers, but we didn't get any enlightenment past the visible details given to us at a cursory glance, and that might be all we get. I don't mind if it's just left like that unanswered. Then we get into some character insight and development as Aaron and Gabriel settle in for some navel gazing, and then T1000 pops up to deliver an interesting character and story. The episode didn't hit the highs and insights it could have but it was certainly going in the right direction, much better than mos of the last 2 seasons.

Old walking dead vibes!!!
sepehrmohammadi-3848716 March 2021
I just don't understand the hate for this episode! despite covid and everything that's going on they managed to deliver an outstanding episode. it was a well written and well acted episode that really has the old walking dead vibes after a very long time. It was like an episode from the first memorable three seasons of the show.

Entertaining Episode: Gabriel, Aaron and Robert Patrick
panagiotis199317 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Aaron came face to face with a wild boar and started screaming, Gabriel started laughing at him, it was super funny haha. I love the chemistry between Gabriel and Aaron. I really enjoyed watching Gabriel and Aaron getting drunk, playing cards and chatting, it felt really wholesome for some reason. I found the conversation about God and morality, between Gabriel and Mays (Robert Patrick) to be very fascinating. The russian roulette scene was really intense. Robert Patrick's performance is amazing. ''One More'' shows how insane and bitter people can become under the right circumstances. The whole episode focuses on Gabriel and Aaron's supply run. We still don't get any answers about what happened to Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Princess 3 episodes ago, this is unacceptable! This episode has great dialogue, it focuses on two really good characters and while it's entertaining it's still a filler episode, I expected much more. I give this episode a 7/10.

what is going on?
martins_skinkis16 March 2021
I was loyal to TWD series form the first episode even when my friends stoped watching it after some seasons what where weak and bad... and after last 3 episodes im thinking im done with this show. I can understand what creators want to accomplish but its not working. Script/writing is so bad. Characters are loosing their mojo or some already lost it. To much episodes on individual character development - in TWD case - borring and bad.

A rare gem
babk-0441714 March 2021
"One More" is one of those episodes i'd expect to just be meh but walked out feeling something that's rare for me to feel in a walking dead episode these days. If this were done in the prime days of the show it would (in my book) be a classic.

Best episode of 10C
bernardinbruno14 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Even if I really like "Home Sweet Home" and "Find me", this new episode is better in my opinion (the best of 10C until now). Aaron/Gabriel is probably one of the most unexpected duo of the show but I love their dynamic. Besides, the narrative approach is very powerful ( dark, terryfying, and sad at the same time ). It reminds me why I'm still loving TWD after these years.

And damn...Robert Patrick was phenomenal as Mays.

Compelling, but. ...
jack_kenney15 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
... can you say "The Deer Hunter?" Blah blah blah beer beer and the wine selection and beer selection and the wine selection are Aaron and Gabriel and Robert Patrick gets a walk-on and is probably 100 times more interesting than either of them but ends up dead so let's not change things up at all or advance about a half-dozen story lines that have been left hanging for months. Come on TWD. Can we advance the narrative? Please?

A dark, but really entertaining episode
thesunshinestte15 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I'm not going to lie, I'm a big fan of dark and character driven stories. This one was a textbook example of how to do a dark episode a success, without forcing through clichéd overdramatized back stories. The combination of realism, humor, madness and reflection, helped to make "One More" an incredibly good viewing experience for me.

A big tribute to Robert Patrick's guest appearance is in order. The same goes for Seth (Gabriel) and Ross (Aaron) who both make very solid performances. Despite strong development throughout the season, I was still very surprised that Gabriel took the chance and killed Mays. This changed quickly when I realized what a monster Mays actually was, the ending was completely wild. Fantastic episode. Can't wait to see what's going on with Eugene, Princess and co. meeting up with The Commonwealth next week. Until then!

I really expected more, but I leave satisfied. There are things about this episode that are salvageable, but others that don't make much sense. Hopefully the next episode doesn't disappoint.

The Walking Dead is back on track
johndaverson14 March 2021
Wow, what an amazing performance!! Totally unexpected, Seth Gilliam knocked it out of the park as Father Gabriel. Loved the beautiful cinematography and peaceful, slow buildup in the beginning, followed by a terrifying and explosive ending. You don't wanna miss this episode.

A Walking Dead Episode That Actually Doesn't Completely Suck!
Weedinator17 March 2021
Warning: Spoilers
I was into this series for the first few seasons, when story arcs and character development was the driving force, but when it became the repeating loop of fan service/stupidity later on, I tuned the F out pretty much, and would only watch occasionally just to laugh at how terrible and pathetic it had become. Whether it was the extremely cheesy and melodramatic speeches that characters would blather on and on with, or the completely idiotic choices and actions the characters would take in a poorly contrived advancement of the already-weak plot, it always made me laugh with its endless fumbling ineptitude...

So imagine my surprise when I watched the episode "One More" and found that, holy crap, it wasn't a complete sh!tshow! Sure, there was some of the usual characters-being-stupid-as-hell-to-drive-the-plot stuff, like when they find the boar in the room and don't immediately conclude that someone must have put it there, or clear the building in the first place, as would be standard operating procedure to the 2 supposed veteran apocalypse survivors, but no, they decide to pig out (see what I did there?) and get drunk as hell so they're left unguarded in a building which they aren't even sure is empty and are too stupid to suspect otherwise.

But the speech by Father Milky-Eye had an actual purpose, for once it served to make a meaningful advancement in story in character later on. It made the tense main scene with the Terminator guy play out well, even if Gaybeard guy had to ruin it a bit with his 'we save people, we can help, we're the good guys' babble but overall, with the twist at the end, made for a decent stand-alone episode.

Interesting episodes so far in 10C
ricardoarditoo14 March 2021
This episode is just two characters, Aaron and Gabriel, but is still surprisingly entertaining. Good character bonding, plenty of walking dead humour and good backstory referencing.

Very intense sequence in the middle of the ep, good writing and had me on the edge of my seat. Nice to see TWD going back to the roots of the overall story, people are insane and will do insane things. Definitely the best of 10C so far.

Robert Patrick made this watchable
fredit-4300417 March 2022
Though we got very little backstory about "Mays", Robert Patrick made this at least watchable, if not pleasant. It would be good not to have to attribute a character's motivation to craziness, and Patrick had me believing that maybe there was some understandable explanation. The mysterious revelations near the end were suggestive of a story line worth pursuing, rather than this episode being a vacation for most of the regulars.

Awful extended season, seems like a total waste for now
ofasda16 March 2021
The episode was so bad I decided to do house chores while watching it. That the extended season would be nothing but average episode at best was what I initially thought these few episodes would bring.

After watching this and seeing how many gives it 10/10, I'm gonna stop watching this show. The walking dead was very special to me for many years, I taught myself to edit tributes videos, and had good fun with this for 2 years between season 7-8. The show was already back then full of flaws that put the quality of the show into question, however now I could write these episodes myself, within an evening and feel ashamed of it. That the show now has such a small fanbase that this can reach such a high rating is pretty telling of just how dead this show really is.
