Time is desperately short for The Duke of Denver, he looks certain to swing for the death of Cathcart Lord Peter takes a long journey to find a vital piece of evidence.
It's a cracking finale, they really went to town with this fifth, and final part, it's on a big scale, the scenes in the court room are pretty amazing, a huge cast, fabulous costumes, and a true sense of an oppressive court room.
The solution came as a surprise to me, I had forgotten the outcome, it was nice to have the final jigsaw piece, overall it's been a cracking mystery.
For 1972 this was a pretty well produced drama, I like that they attempted a bit of CSO for the interiors of the palace.
The best line of the entire series delivered by Winsey's sister, 'He's the only Duke I know who wears ermine as though it's still on the animal.' Her delivery was excellent.
I love that name Cathcart, always makes me chuckle, and think of Miss Cathcart of Hi de Hi. Just one question, how long would that sail from England to New York have taken? I assume days.
Excellent, 9/10.
