It shows how irritating the regular cast are these days that we're basically on the side of the dogmatic principal who, as he rightly says, has had a pregnant teenager dumped on him without any consultation and been expected to manage it.It's nice that Bridget, Declan and Miranda aren't interested in the childish antics going on at the school, instead staying at home to discuss grown-up matters.The reactions of some of the other characters are a bit harder to explain. Why exactly isn't the policeman bothered about Rebecca stealing his handcuffs and taking a man hostage?Inevitably, it all ends with Andrew backing down, even though Bridget and Rebecca were the ones out of order.
Elsewhere, the Ty/Tanya F-plot continues to attract very little attention.No doubt it'll all end in accusations of sexual harassment and Ty sticking to his principles.Which, actually, is how it should end.The gang winding up Rachel is a bit annoying, although Ringo sitting with Dahl on his shoulder is a cute moment.
