Isn't life a Greek tragedy? Young Roman director Gipo Fasano uses Eschilo's devices to paint a raw yet poetic portrait of Rome's privileged youth. Valerio, the protagonist, has killed someone but his father's connections will spare him trial and punishment. The film follows him throughout a night in Rome while he awaits his fate. Unique in its genre, the film is rich in cinematographic citations that will delight the connaisseurs and surprise everyone. I can't wait to see what Fasano does next.
