At home at the end of the world

The world is coming to and end and as usual most of the umbrella kids are blissfully uncaring and off doing their own thing. A few cool shots and some storyline progress.

I Hope It Gets Somewhere
Hitchcoc26 September 2023
Lila and Diego go in search of his son (who isn't really his son). They enter some sort of labyrinth where things are backwards. They are pursued throughout. Of course, Diego, the impulsive twit, has to ring a forbidden bell that costs him a couple fingers. Meanwhile, Luther is playing nice with the Sparrow girl. Five takes off and meets with Pogo who worked with good old Dad and was expelled for being recalcitrant. Alison is her usually sickening self. She witnesses Harlan and Viktor working the powers out of Harlan, into Viktor. She is just in the way. She contributes nothing to the story except long for the good old days. Klaus goes to visit Dad again. More realizations.

Alison is a b****

In general, I'm liking season 3 much more than the previous seasons.

But Alison.. oh god she gets on my nerves!

I emphasise with her losing her daughter and husband, but dear god she is annoying.

That being said, I think her role is being done perfectly. This is exactly what was expected of her for losing her family twice.

The character development so far is amazing.

Diego with his "son" is really beautiful and heartwarming.

Klaus my beloved is so funny and stupid 😂.

My hope is, for the final episode we get to see the true full potential of each one of them, like what we saw in the first episode.

[6.8] Island group "par ci", island group "par la"

Warning: Spoilers
Episode 6: Unapologetically nearly incomprehensible, but with some character, much better development and visual effects / CGI in this episode.

The introduction was super fine and one of the highlight of the episode, paving the grounds for the sensei background story moving forward to the present.

Victor is doing as fine as an eagle chick wanting to eat a whole supersized beefburger all by herself.

Other than those, the remaining are just flowing mindlessly before our eyes.

What did they do?

Warning: Spoilers
Okay, so Harland just puked his power back to Viktor?

How, why were they floating, what happened.

There is no explanation. And why not use him more, he was an interesting character.

Diego's son isn't actually his son. Why did they write that? Was that supposed to be funny?

The only compelling storyline is (as usual) Five trying to actually do something about the next apocalyps.

And I am getting so tired of the Sparrows (espacially Ben). They are just screenfillers.
