I just binged the first three episodes thru Comcast .FBI agent Clarice Staring is listed as one of the top ten heroes in cinematic history by the American Film Institute. Being asked to play the role of Clarice Staring in a reboot is kind of a big ask ; the reality is there's no replacing Jodie Foster in any universe. :) I have to say Rebecca Breeds is really carrying the show.I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. Physically Rebecca Breeds is mesmerizing and quite an accomplished actress. I've never heard of her or seen her in any other films or TV shows. So far, Clarice has been an intriguing blend of character development and single-episode and ongoing cases. For my tastes , Clarice is compelling to watch. Next weeks episode can't come soon enough !

Didn't you love how Clarice fired her therapist? She admitted she needed help, but she required someone smarter than him and smarter than her as well. This guy was a Tool. I wonder how this therapist is going to get his comeuppance ! I hope it's very visceral .

Great episode

The group of characters are disclosing backstory at the perfect pace. Side plots like the senator and her daughter are at a minimum. Which is good. Just enough to give us the feel of real impact to victims. But not so much plot time to distract or hijack the main plot.

The end scene was awesome. If you can see where the show can go.... you it makes you scream No, No, No

But at the same time Yes, Yes Yes. And for the same reason. I think we are going to meet one of our favorite psychologists that we fear

This episode was very one note as it almost entirely took place in the interview rooms and in the end didn't contribute anything useful to developing the storyline. Edgy scene flashes didn't add anything.

Wow, I may still be in shock from the garbage I just watched, but I truly think that this is one of the worst episodes of "serious" television I've ever seen. The entire plot...the entire story...the entire episode...was a suspect interrogation. That's basically it. Literally, NOTHING else happens until the last 3 minutes of the episode, and even then it's just that the suspect is poisoned. Episodes like this are the exact opposite of what I was hoping for in the future. A suspenseful, quick-paced plot like the last episode is what this young series needs more of if it hopes to keep my weekly viewership. This episode was opposite of that. It was SLOW AS HELL, incredibly uneventful, boringly-written, and even a little cliched. Not to mention that the timeline and separate plot lines for the entire series are absolutely all...over...the...place; it was apparent in this episode. At this point, I am really losing interest in the series. I was incredibly disappointed in the first episode (which was also uneventful and all-over-the-place), surprised by the decent second episode (which was actually suspenseful and had believable stakes...something a crime show is actually supposed to have), and incredibly disappointed in the third episode.

So corny and unrealistic timing! So bad... how is the dirty "lawyer" four feet away from an FBI agent and somehow he gets down 3 flights of stairs. Lay off on the White Castle burgers, Kal Penn!

Rebecca Breeds is irritating and a horrible actress. If this actress centred show hopes to survive the "serial" killer genre, it needs a much better actress!
