On her day off, Hazel (Shirley Booth) insists on bringing George (Don DeFore) some lunch while pretty wife Dorothy (Whitney Blake) takes young Harold (Bobby Buntrock) to visit his grandmother. Although it's Sunday, "Mister B" is working hard at the office on a contract for land being donated for a new city playground by pushy James Westerfield (as Joe Arden). Not knowing he is the arrogant donor, Hazel (her double) collides with Mr. Westerfield and loses the heel of her shoe. He takes her to get the shoe fixed, and succumbs to Hazel's charms. Shirley Booth and James Westerfield are a delightful team. Also watch for William Schallert (in color, as Robert Kemper), shortly to be Patty Duke's TV father, and the velvet-voiced Percy Helton (as Cyrano).
