Church Bells May Not Ring
wes-connors21 February 2012
Hazel (Shirley Booth) is excited because Mister B's blustery client Howard Smith (as Harvey Griffin) wants a big church wedding for aspiring writer nephew Dick Sargent (as Pete) and his stenographer girlfriend Carolyn Kearney (as Maggie). The executives decide George (Don DeFore) will be best man. But the young couple has decided against a fancy wedding. Conspiring to change their minds, Hazel invites the pair over to look at wedding pictures with pretty Dorothy (Whitney Blake). Harold (Bobby Buntrock) asks, "Was I there?" Things go along splendidly until the expected line, "There isn't going to be any wedding!"
