Astonishing.

John has had enough, and decides to head back to The UK, with a story of amnesia, unfortunately a previous mistake comes back to haunt them.

You couldn't even make up a story like this, you have to admire the audacity of the couple, to even contemplate such a plan.

Can you imagine thinking someone that you love is dead, and then seeding them alive, I wonder what the relationship is like nowadays.

I am thoroughly enjoying this brilliant drama, great story, but it's the acting, it's just extraordinary, Dolan and Marsan are two of the best, Mark Stanley was excellent here.

Two unexpected faces, great to see Andrew Lancel, and Karl Pilkington of all people, inspired casting.

So good, 9/10.

Best episode because it's just ridiculous

Can't believe anyone would ever believe that their sons weren't in on it.

Just utter nonsense.

Also can't believe someone would be soo stupid as to claim they have amnesia when it's blatantly obvious that no-one is going to believe such a blatant lie.

They have made Anne too much of a simp. She was just as bad as John and 100% complicit.

Karl Pilkington almost steals the episode

Warning: Spoilers
Monica Dolan is superb as Anne Darwin in this true life adaptation that is so unbelievable but yes it really happened. Eddie Marsan is very convincing as John Darwin, and in a way one can feel bad about his failed business ventures, but what was he thinking in such desperate times. Eddie Marsan makes you want to scream to John Darwin, "Snap out of it" because he completely lacks any kind of self-awareness of his death games that takes himself and Anne to Panama.

Eddie Marsan is mesmorizing as John Darwin, and Monica Dolan makes you think she really is Anne Darwin, the long-suffering (but complicit) wife of John.

Karl Pilkington plays a serious role as a police detective. An inspired choice of casting.
