A watchable movie. Writing was a tad predictable with some exceptions. Actors lost the scene by over stating the concept, under selling the proposition, or miss selling the emotions making many scenes rough around the edges (direction). A few moments break the third window to remind the viewer its a B movie, but as such it's better then many.

Sound elements were passable except for 1 scene. Lightning was good. Many of the sets were clean and consistent throughout. Props and attire were good, loved the cars and related effects (sound system effects).

Worth the watch, but probably won't do it again.

The Worst

I havent seen a film in this genre that was worse on every level.

Plot - from a Erkle styled black youth with a paper route to a kingpin running a syndicated section of the city and all in the matter of a few months. Clubsy attempts at tear jerker moments from pregnant girlfriends to cancer ridden mothers, all the while weaving a meta narrative of a powerful, geriatric black syndicate running the drug trade in the projects.

Acting - the main character seems to sleep walk through every dramatic moment, from getting beaten and extorted to having his family threatened to asking for a new paper route. All delivered with a dead pan, monotone, lids half closed, mumbling weary speech and body language. All the other actors are conspicuously devoid of talent or credibility.

Budget/cinematography - low low budget without the imagination to compensate. The most powerful men meet to ordain the new kingpin of a district. The meeting room looks like a low rent high school cafeteria with plastic fold out tables decked with cheap white cloths and folding chair t sit on. Theres no security, no amenities and no credibility. The low budget is very evident when we view scenes like the crime bosses trap houses. In other movies there will be dozens of people and levels of armed guards and look out but in this sad production, it's just the Boss and his henchman, "Shooter".

Such a sad, dreary uninformed description of life in the urban ghetto that it is astounding that IMBb gives it such a high rating (80%)??!

Great movie, cast, crew and director.

I enjoy watching a hard working young man who positively interacts with his mom and community. Until, something changed. The story, characters, direction, cinematography, actors, lighting and everything else were great. It makes you question your thoughts on why people take certain paths. I laughed and cried. I'm reciting lines after watching several times. It's a must see. It's refreshing. Famed veteran actors Obba Babatunde and Aaron D. Spears (Goggle them) added an extra appeal. How exciting to see them in this Indi film! The young new actors were phenomenal. I hope you watch, enjoy, share and leave a great review. Enjoy.

I enjoyed it!

I highly recommend.

I worked with james in a previous film and I enjoyed his craftsmanship his direction his choice in casting and script. He did it big in this film I enjoyed every second of it.

This movie is very relatable to today's society. I love how the movie was unpredictable. A lot of plot twists to this movie to keep you thinking and to keep you on your toes. The cast did a phenomenal job portraying their characters while also staying in character. I'm so thankful I was able to watch it on Amazon prime. I'm proud of James he's doing an awesome at what he does.

Looking forward to the next film!!

Tough choice; what would you do?

Having been a young, single Mom, this film resonated intensely with me on a deep and intrinsic level. On a daily basis, we are reminded that life is short and life is hard! We are constantly finding ourselves in positions where we have to make decisions that will affect ourselves and our loved ones. This film is the ultimate love story. Not the romantic kind of love, but an inspirational kind of love. A kinder love. A greater love. George A. Moore said "A man travels the world in search of what he needs, and returns home to find it." This is a story about the lengths one will go to and what they will sacrifice for the ones they love. The cast was stellar and brought, full circle, an age old tale of survival. I am proud of this film. I see my Sons and Grandson in this film. Well done; highly recommended!

A must see

Noble Intentions is the rare movie that combines a great and meaningful story with an outstanding cast for entertainment value that packs a moving message. Intensity is matched by the authenticity: we know these people, we know these problems. But Noble Intentions is not just descriptive, it is prescriptive, inspiring: there is something we can do. We can change our minds, our lives, and our world. From family to community to church, I foresee this must-see movie becoming the catalyst for radical transformation in the way we respond to community crisis. I love this must-see movie. I will and do recommend it to all my friends and associates, and I will watch it again and again.

Loved It!

I was pleasantly surprised by the performance of the new actors or at least the actors I'm not familiar with. Along with our veterans it was an awesome cast. The storyline was one that has been repeated yet the little twists on it was great. Good job to everyone involved in creating this film. I definitely would look at it again and I have shared it with family and friends. I'm looking forward to more work... from these producers ,directors and actors. It's refreshing to see everyone that was involved with this movie tapping into their god-given talent and creating great entertainment.

Looking forward to what comes next!

Must See!!!

A+ Great Story. I'll admit... I was skeptical at first, hoping this wouldn't be a grade C movie. Plesasantly surprised. Solid acting by newcomer Michale Coffey. Babba Obatunde, veteran actor, added so much credibility to this film. Brilliant performance. There was no overacting which usually is what kills new actors/actresses. Storyline was authentic, genuine, very realistic. We laughed, got teary eyed, cheered, and gave high fives throughout movie. The story had a nice pace to it, that varied appropriately according to scenes. I thought the cinematography was crisp and clean, as well as the editing. We really enjoyed watching the character development of the lead male role, Noble. Speaking of roles, the actors playing bad guys very convincing. I'm still mad at them. Lol. Great movie. Highly recommended. Would love to see more productions like this one, modern, fresh, relatable.

I really Enjoyed this movie

I've watched this movie several times and I get a different meaning each and every time, anything I missed i caught the next time I watched. I highly recommend this movie. The story line is very true, a lot of people have experienced this type of drama in real life. There are people dealing with insurance issues everyday. Love it, Love it. I purchased this movie on Amazon and I feel it was money well spent. I really support young black people doing their on thing. And James Turner did this. His story line was great and relatable. People I personally are dealing with medical issues and can't get insurance.
