I realise this review may be an unpopular one but the truth must be spoken. 'Finding Derek', like Katie Price's recent documentary about her son Harvey, is nothing more than exploitative rubbish. Kate Garraway has never been out of the media since her husband was struck down with Covid. Despite not having much time for Derek Draper, I do feel for him having his quality of life taken from him due to the profound effect the illness has had on him. What I do not appreciate however is Kate's bleating on about her daily struggle with Derek's illness. Come off it Kate! Millions of other people were and still are in the same boat but haven't gone crying in the media about it or use the poor sufferer's illness by way of gaining attention and money. Given that Draper was unable to consent to the making of this documentary, this should not have been considered suitable for commision. It's a pure invasion of privacy. Derek needs care and attention, not a camera shoved in his face every day. Kate, why don't you and Katie Price join each other and get a job on a farm working with cows. After all, you both are good at milking things!
