Odd turn for the show
braininacat22 April 2022
The show for better or worse got a little more abstract and avant-garde with the action and story choice in this episode and I will be honest so had a little bit of trouble following along. The nude dancing that the dad gives and the ending when they fight around the hole so was left a little confused because unlike the other episodes I did not see a lot of big progress. Still very excited to see what they do next but just being honest about some of the acting choices they took in this one.

Yellowstone meets Twin Peaks
nycarrie27 April 2022
I appreciate the fact that this show is unusual and a bit out there. Definitely gives a Twin Peaks meets Yellowstone meets X files kind of vibe. It keeps you thinking and on edge as nothing is what it seems. The acting is top notch and there is a bit of humor thrown in here and there. Will Patton (who was also in Yellowstone) is a force of crazy...or is he? Lots of subtlety along with over the top moments. Thinking this episode set up things in motion for the next.

It's good to have a list!
bosporan22 April 2022
The whirlwind that is Patricia Tillerson arrives, her vortex crashing over the key players like a tsunami. A pugnacious performance from Deirdre O'Connell lambasting those in her wake.

Autumn and Royal play poker, figuratively and literally, each sparring to discover what the other knows about the time-portal. Imogen Poots is fabulous as Autumn, playing her cards close to her chest in this fight.

Accelerating now, admittedly from a crawl, to develop a better picture of the panorama of related events and the artefact's impact.

Weirdest episode so far!
sparklefish15 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Oh I am enjoying all these oddballs. I don't know who is the freakiest: Wayne with his naked wails to the buffalo head, Billy singing in falsetto at Trevor's funeral, the Texan eating his Fritos, Patricia with her glam jackets and cadaver face...the list goes on and on! I guffawed at the Fritos scene and was chilled at the poker scene. Maybe Autumn is a demon!

I'm getting Lost vibes from this show and that's a compliment!

Oxydized lead
cjonesas24 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Episode 4: The mishmash continues with its fourth episode. More weird actions this time. Still, the thrill is far away. It shows many symbolism-like scenes, not bad in itself, incoherent and not comprehensible for most of the viewers I think, including myself.

The natives of Wyoming would surely appreciate it more.

Also, the logic is far fetched in this episode, as with most past episodes, with a final semi-fight scene having as much logic as lead turning to gold.

Endless bad cello music. Outer Range singing contest
Xavier_Stone22 April 2022
Lots of long drawn out notes that are irritating and do nothing for the scene. Accompanying music with an actor is supposed to enhance the emotional attachment, but here the cello music is so bad that it detracts from anything that the scene is trying to portray.

Add to that several musical numbers. The fact that there are 3 different actors singing to themselves or to others, for extended periods of time, and all are absolutely terrible. This show has become the Voice on the Range.

Stop singing, Billy!!
robinedgeworth-0212618 June 2022
I love this show and the Yellowstone feel it has, but if Billy is trying to be Walker on this show, he has failed! Terrible, terrible singing. Why would they even cast him to sing in this show over and over??

Worst soundtrack ever.
sogoodlooking22 May 2022
These dumbbells apparently never watched a cop show. One almost lets Barney Thfife keep him from answering his phone.

Instead of telling the police to Go Fish, at which point they'd have nothing, these geniuses let themselves get bullied by one of the worst tv cops to ever wear the badge. They also believe her version of who said what rather than their own blood. It's hard to know who's more pitiful, the writers or the characters.

And what the he!! Is going on the lunatic singer? It's baffling. The series got off to a fascinating start, but after the first two episodes it seems bent on self-destruction. They just couldn't figure out how to continue.
