Muriel. Totes adorbs.

Loving this sequel in its entirety. And a particular highlight is the character of Muriel. Quelin Sepulveda is immaculate in her performance, bringing incredible charm and innocence, and an adorable quirkiness, to the part. Never more so than when she's the 'human police officer'.

The series continues to impress. It doesn't have the breadth of story telling of series 1, which had many threads coming together by the finale, but that's more than made up for by the strength of the story and the addition of the mini episodes. The resurrectionist tale here is grim but very funny, and also touching. A lovely balance.

I'm already looking forward to an early rewatch, and to seeing Muriel on the beat again.

Great job by all.

Oh my, Muriel!

Warning: Spoilers
Those angels in Heaven all used to annoy me so much by how they treat Aziraphale and humanity! And here comes Muriel, our innocent gentle angel. We see so much of Aziraphale in this nice angel that you just want to see more of her!

That scene where Crowley and Aziraphale talks to her is precious! Wonderfully acted, the lines are hilarious. This scene also feels very domestic for our angel and demon as they sit very close together as they interview our inspector-constable.

This episode seems to give a lot of "romatic" and domestic interactions between our lead characters and we are all there for it!

Love love love this episode! Aziraphale's conflict of good vs. Evil, black and white vs. Shades of gray is shown here yet again, and it's wonderful. Michael Sheen does a heck of a job acting with subtext and internal dialogue and all that, so we as an audience just feel even more for the angel, while also wondering how he'll end up morality wise. Muriel is absolutely adorable, "Inspector Constable...that's my name!" like Quelin Sepulveda was given the script and made it simply magical. Crowley intervening to save Elsbeth was so sweet and touching in the way only Crowley could be. It's so quick, what he did here, what he did with the goats in 2x2, but it's so special. Love it!

Warning: Spoilers
Aziraphale and Crowley play a joke, but Crowley is worried about the Bentley's speed and Aziraphale's safety. David Tennant plays Crowley's GPS, and Gabriel is a curious child. Crowley's role in babysitting Gabriel, running the shop, and Operation Lovebirds may be a good idea, but Aziraphale may not be able to help. Sherlock Fell may be onto something, and he hopes to find out before the rising dead tempest arrives. David Tennant's Scottish accent in Good Omens Season 2 Episode 3 is a fun touch. Aziraphale's 1827 lesson on poverty is a personal growth moment for the angel. Elsbeth's ninety guineas may not be enough to level the playing field for her. Officer Constable Muriel, unfamiliar with humanity, is assigned to confirm and document the miracle Aziraphale claimed to have made Nina and Maggies fall in love. The angel's optimistic and ineptitude is charming, especially considering the callous behavior of higher-up angels. Crowley and Aziraphale could teach her the world's ways. Jim/Gabriel's mug has been replaced with wings, and he has improved from wandering naked to having job readiness skills, clothing training, and hot chocolate-making skills. The angel's cute appearance and ability to learn from others make it a fun addition to the story. In the first episode of Hell, Beelzebub struggles with identity and faces confusion from an overlord who doesn't punish him. Season 2 introduces a new face, Shelley Conn, who takes over from Anna Maxwell Martin. Beelzebub's higher profile is evident as he searches for Gabriel across Heaven, Hell, and Earth. The Lord of the Flies title suggests that flies are mentioned at regular intervals throughout the series, suggesting Gabriel's memory was wiped. Elsbeth and Muriel contrast as human and angel, impoverished and privileged. Elsbeth makes choices that Aziraphale cannot understand due to her limited opportunities. Mr. Dalrymple exploits the poor, like Elsbeth, and justifies it with his belief that they are drunks. Crowley intervenes to save Elsbeth from herself, just as he intervened for Job's goats and children in Good Omens Season 2 Episode 2. The absurdist comedy of Mr. Dalrymple's journey from Lilliputian to Brobdingnagian while high on laudanum is a thrilling experience. The graveyard watchmen's reaction to the mess left at the crypt is intriguing. Elsbeth's decision to buy a farm and settle down on a ninety guineas farm seems karmic, as Mr. Dalrymple's tragic end seems karmic. The writers have established a relationship theme throughout the season, introducing new themes with each chapter while incorporating established ones.
