Ends rather abruptly. We have come to know these characters well, so I would've liked a few minutes of wrapping up after they solve the mystery. It just ends abruptly (kind of like one of those old black-and-white movies from the 1950s) with a fade out. I hope there's a second season to see what happens to the characters.

A fabulous finale! The main plot strands closed in a satisfying coherent manner that is credible and consistent with the motivation of the whole cast. A good chunk I had guessed, but some elements were a surprise which improved previous episodes. A masterclass in how to finish a season.
Thomas Jane (Ted) and Nicole Chamoun (Amanda) have been superb throughout, both in their individual performance and collectively as a detective duo.
A second season would be more than welcome!

Brilliant ending. Although the first 5 or so episodes were slow, by the last few I was really invested into finding out the truth.
And this episode does it fabulously.
It's a very emotional episode. There's quite a bit of grief, portrayed excellently, that made me well up. Initially Amanda was too strange to be relatable, but by the end of this season, I had built a lot of sympathy for her, and the ending was a relief in many ways. Although it was a bit abrupt, as others have said, and I found myself wishing to see the public aftermath.
Anyway, another season is apparently in the works! There's a bit to resolve about Ted, hopefully the next season does that.
