I was very lucky to see this film during it's run in Dublin's IFI cinema. It's the story of two sisters returning to their childhood family home to care for their dying mother and disabled brother. Beautifully shot, the cinematography is fantastic and the sound design really pulls you into the drama. The cast are amazing. I have rarely seen performances that are so natural and you never fail to believe in the realness of their performances. A standout mention must go to Patrick O'Donnell for his portrayal of mentally disabled Peter. The scene where they tell him that his mother is dying is heartbreaking and unforgettable. This is a film that will get into your mind and leave you thinking about it for days after. A must see if you get the chance.
